haha..today is sunday and i am in camp doing duty! shall spam the TV today...lolz..just another few more weeks and i will be officially out of army..two years of NS..say short not short, say long also not long, realli looking forward to be free again...haha...i am also sourcing for jobs lately..browsing thru newspaper la and internet to look for suitable jobs..hah hoping to get like an airport job..i think its interesting to work in the airport cos you get to see people from all walks of life..lolz..so if u all have any lobang please dun forget to inform me! haha..

wow..its been so long since i touch on this blog already..ever since AHM!! anw i have not been running anymore ever since then..due to my knee problem that emerged..very sian when u want to run but just cannot run kinda feeling..haiz..but anw pple are saying i am too thin..need to gain b a bit of weight..but dun wry la pple..haha after army i think i will def gain weight one..just hope i dun balloon b to 100 plus can le!

1)believe in people..believe in yourself..be an encourager..
2)warn your sheeps with genltleness and love..and at an early stage too...

Transformation of johnnie ang

today is the day..16th August...army half marathon..21km run around the city area..and i completed...all these months of running and eating less..all just to finish today's run to mark a great achievement in my NS life..the physical aspect..from being an extreme obese recruit in 2007..to a marathon runner in 2009..the sense of achievement is just amazing..realli..tears of joy shed as i cross that finishing line..

though along e way there were alot of mental struggle because of my knee problem..and i was initially very afraid that i could not complete the run due to my knee..which began to experience searing pain recently whenever i go for my run..but i held on and perservered..though at certain stage of the run esp when there is a gradient either upslope or downslope..i realli wanted to give up because of the pain in my knee..but i told myself sth that my tekong sgt always told us..its all in e mind...and i kept praying and praying the pain will somehow diminish..

in 2007..i was posted to BMTC school 1 eagle company which was meant for extreme obese recruits..and i weighed a full 114 kg as i stepped onto that little island...

after 3 months..which was halfway through..i lost quite some weight..and i had a dream..to be able to pass ippt so i can go to sispec and hopefully come b to pulau tekong wearing that red PT kit and helping fellow obese recruits and being a role model to them..

eventually by the time i POP i didnt managed to live my dream..because i didnt managed to pass ippt..however i have lost quite a significant amount of weight..and i was 84 then..a whooping 30kg lost in 6 months...

then i was given another form of section commander role..being posted to sembawang as a transport supervisor and another chapter of my life began..as a transport supervisor trainee..going thru the 5 month course from 23rd june to 5th november...

and then i passed out as a tpt supervisor..and lost more weight..to around 78 i think?

then i got posted to ALPHA 1 TPT BN..and thats where i am now..during this period of time i told myself..a lot of pple think logistics very slack and nua and i noe alot of drivers after becoming drivers will start to grow fat and all..but i didnt want that to happen to me..thats why i told myself that i will cont to watch my diet and exercise regularly..hopefully lose more weight..and so i embarked on a regime..including gng for every liferuns w/o fail..even if the previous day i was on duty..and on alt days i will also go swimming in the evening..and of course watch my diet..and eat much lesser carbo...and then came the news of this army half marathon..a 21km run around the city area on 16th august..that gave me an extra motivation..and i told myself that this event will be the highlight of my NS life and will mark my losing weight journey from the time i was a 114kg recruits which had difficulty completing a 2.4km run to a 58kg marathon runner who finish a 21km run at own target timing of below 2hrs and 45 mins (btw..my this 21km timing is 2hrs and 20 mins=])

i am realli happy..realli happy..thanks to all those who had given me morale support and helped me along in one way or another throughout this journey..i realli appreciate it...

wah..its been a month plus since i last blogged! haha..well..have been very busy with APEC...anw today i had a pleasant surprise when i went over to my tutee place..haha..he passed me a PREZZIE! lolz..but it seems he thot my birthday was 23rd july..then i corrected him..that it was a month ago! lolz..but nonetheless..i realli didnt expect him to even rmb my birthday in the first place..lest the present..it was a shirt...very very happy and sort of touched..cos i love to receive presents! haha..yupps...

and just now watched liverpool VS singapore over dinner...well s'pre didnt play too badly in the first half..though u can see liverpool had most of e possession..but when liverpool struck at the stroke of halftime..everything started gng downhill..when the second half kicked off..the goals started coming in..esp after torres was introduced into the match on the 60th min mark, u can hear the crowds shouting' "we want torres!we want torres!" lolz..5-0 was the final score..but seeing the way s'pore play in the second half..i am not surprised! well looks like s'pore still got a long way to go...gambate!

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY JOHNNIE ANG!

haha..23rd june..the day i came to this world..
hmmmz..about one-fifth of my life has passed..sometimes u cant help but wonder..for the past twenty years..what have you achieved?
anw today i am at home cos i got birthday off..whole day just rot alone cos my parents and brother all not around..i bet my parents dun even noe i am home right now..lolz..but they celebrated with me on sunday tgh with father's day..haha..well since i am alone..no choice but to celebrate myself by cooking a simple western dinner and i went to buy a small little cake..those kid's kind got toy plane on top somemore..very interesting..acty hor i felt like i am overseas like that..where u got no close ones around so u just celebrate yourself..the experience is quite different acty..haha..my birthday resolution is just to complete the rest of my army term smoothly without any major obstacles or what..
and i would like to thank all those who wish me happy birthday today..whether its thru sms, facebook or phonecall! haha..i receive one present :) a nalgene 1L water bottle from joshua, aik leng and kian sin..thanks man bros!!
well i think thats abt it..shall go try the konnayaku jelly i made! thanks once again to all who has wished me! i hope u all will stay happy always! SMILE AND THE WHOLE WORLD WILL SMILE WITH YOU, CRY BUT YOU WONT CRY ALONE! rmb this :)

today is saturday and i am in camp doing weekend duty..sianz cos my office aircon out of order..HOT SIA! haha..rotting away in front of the computer..acty its no different from being at home but then it just feels much more comfortable at home le..lolz..hmmmz this week as usual exercise routine running swimming plus eating less lor..like today my lunch and dinner is TAO SA BREAD..i dunnoe why but recently i have a craving for tao sa(red bean paste)..though i havnt eaten one that wows me..haha..so if u all got any recommendation please do tell me! ahah...

hmmmz..ytd went b home and weigh i finally reach 64KG! thats another kg gone..though weight will acty fluctuate one..haha..hmmmz should i go down even further? well pple are starting to think i am too thin and wans me to gain a bit of weight..but i think army this period is the best to lose as much weight as possible..so that at least when finish NS there is some room for horizontal growth! haha..

still got 6 more months or so..its like a eagle duration lor..book in book out another 30 times or so..haha..cant wait to ORD!! hmmm i have a few frens thinking of signing on for 6 more months for the regular 1400-1700 bucks pay..cos outside realli rarely can get such good payfor this 6 months..but i dun wan cos i realli think army too many regimentation like a chain that chains our freedom..some vocation are slack by nature those can sign on la..but mine? definitely a NO NO..and yesh i am gonna change my number after i ORD..haha getting a plan then..so that i will not receive anymore weird calls from my company line..haha..and totally break away from ARMY!!

the time now is 1 pm...i still have like around 19 hours before i can book out..what shld i do? sianz..
